Galestro Griffe
Galestro is the name of a typical porous rock, grey in colour, found beneath the surface of the Tuscan ground. When this rock is exposed to the light and air it crumbles and leaves the poor, arid soil which determines the qualitative characteristics of the most famous winemaking districts in Tuscany.
What better name to baptize a white wine coming out of the secular Tuscan winemaking tradition?
Galestro is produced mainly with Trebbiano Toscano and Chardonnay cultivated in the hilly parts of Tuscany.
Galestro Griffe is a young, fun, uncomplicated yet deliciously vibrant white wine with extremely versatile qualities. With its fragrant aromas and subtle taste Galestro Griffe is the perfect white wine to drink as an aperitif.
